Following a competitive tender and long development and planning application ATC were awarded the Contract to Design and Build a 20,000 Tonne Lime Bulk Store. With our design partners HBPW Consulting an innovative and economic design was produced.

Work started in March 2008 with completion in early August 2008. The works included formation preparation, reinforced concrete slab and walls 4.2m high, Steelwork, cladding, roller doors, personnel doors and electrics.

The building has a 3,500m2 floor area with a 27m clear span three access doors complete with accompanying emergency escape doors and 1,200m2 of external paving.

The project was finished three weeks ahead of schedule.
